Fedora Core

Been into the linux scene quite a bit lately, I'm actually trying to use Fedora as my primary OS, while keeping Windows for games and .NET development etc...

Getting pretty good so far, I mean, I've been using OpenOffice for a while now and other opensource software, hence it's not like heading into the unknown. I've also been scratching the top of the linux surface since I started my university course 3 years ago, so, I feel more comfortable with it now.

I find it quite interesting how everything around me seems to take time to settle in, I never really have to go and learn it by forcing myself, everything kinda settles into my brain just by spending abit of time messing around with it. Heh

Anyway. I've managed to install FC5 into both my laptop and 2nd desktop, and all it's well, I've got it running everything that I need, along with truetype fonts and mp3 players and adobe flash etc...

For those who're interested, I recommend this page as a guide. It's absolutely brilliant and solved quite a lot of my problems. stanton-finley.net
