Just because everybody around you spends all their time working, not having even a minute to spare to contemplate on other matters of life or even sleep.

Does not mean you are required to nor should you do the same.

Optimise your work with heuristics.

Usability consultants, framework developers, should all contain two things in common.

1) They need to have been a developer before. (the skill of which determines how good they’ll be at their current role)
2) They need have a lazy characteristic. (in order to be good at what they’re doing currently by being able to think of the best method of being lazier for their target market)

What this tells us: Lazy people deserves a job, so long as you can put their attribute to good use.

It is never worth having a stressful job. Look at it this way.

If your hourly rate is 500 HKD (40 UK pounds), but every hour you work for your job decreases your life expectancy by an hour.

You’ve gained nothing.
